AAC Evaluations

AAC Treatment
Once an AAC system is in place, therapy helps children learn to use it effectively and develop strong communication skills. Our therapy sessions:
Teach children how to use their AAC device or system in everyday routines
Focus on building expressive and receptive language skills
Include coaching for families to model and reinforce communication at home
Are fun, engaging, and tailored to each child’s interests and abilities

AAC Intensives
For families seeking fast, focused progress, our AAC Intensives are a one-week, immersive program for children ages 2–17. During an intensive:
Children receive concentrated, individualized AAC therapy
Families learn hands-on strategies to continue progress at home
Goals are accelerated in a short, supportive, and engaging timeframe
AAC Intensives are perfect for children who need a jumpstart in communication or families who want a focused, skill-building experience in a short period.
