Utter Brilliance offers professional AAC device editing and system customization to ensure your child’s communication system continues to grow with them.

This service is available to:

• Current Utter Brilliance Therapy Services Families (at this time)

• AAC apps or systems that allow for remote editing and file sharing

If your child is currently working with another speech-language pathologist, we are happy to collaborate to ensure edits align with therapeutic goals and to maintain professional continuity of care.

This Service Includes:

• Adding and organizing vocabulary

• Programming curriculum or seasonal words

• Editing buttons, folders, and layouts

• Cleaning up and organizing navigation

• Updating symbol labels

• Minor troubleshooting and navigation fixes

This service does not include therapy, goal writing, formal evaluation, or full system redesign without consultation.

How It Works:

1. Submit an inquiry form through our contact page

2. Receive and complete an AAC Editing Request Form detailing requested changes.

3. You will receive confirmation of the estimated time block and cost.

4. Payment is required prior to edits beginning.

5. You will send your original AAC file (a how-to guide will be provided).

6. Edits are completed within 3–5 business days.

7. Your updated file is returned with written programming notes.

8. You re-upload the file to your device.

Investment

Programming & Customization is billed in time blocks:

• 15 minutes or less – $35

• 16-30 minutes – $70

• 31-45 minutes – $105

• 46-60 minutes – $140

Most requests involving 8–15 simple vocabulary additions fit within a 15-minute increment. More complex edits may require additional time.

Standard turnaround time is 3–5 business days.
